She Was A Fine One!

Hello Fellow Sailors!

As you previously heard I’m coming to you from my quarantined cabin in North Clarendon, VT (well not my cabin)…Google it if you don’t know where it is or better yet, google map it and zoom in so I can wave to you! I’m not sure of all of you, but I had things cranking in life this winter turning the corner into spring with a full head of steam….until a month go, Thanks CHYNNNNNAAAA (Trump voice) hehe.

Any whose I am not coming here to talk about COVID-19! No No No I am here to give you HOPE (and maybe a little distraction)! According to the Toyota Ad that I hear about 1000 times a day “There are better days ahead, and we will be here for you along the way”. I AM here to tell you that there most certainly are better days ahead and I'll help you get there, but I think you all know what I am talking about! The 4th Annual Lobster Pot Challenge! The Corona Virus ain’t getting in the way of this event –Lobstering is social distancing at its finest! In fact I’ll crush Corona’s all season just because of it – do we have another bet brewing!!! No pun intended haha

As for the two “MAJOR” announcements, they really aren’t too big – Just trying to get you all hooked! Little Duder Lobster Co. has put in an excruciating amount of work this off season to bring to you, my fellow mates, a much better product!

How can it get any better you ask???

1) As many of you may have noticed from our Instagram post (Aboard.The.Liza.B) and the video I am pleased to announce the launch of the Little Duder Lobster Co website (www.LittleDuder.Com). This will be where all the blogs will end up! There has been a lot of traffic since last nights video - for those of you who are out of the loop go check it out. I am still trying to figure this whole platform out, so work with me a little. I’m pretty sure if you become a subscriber you will get a notification in your e-mail that says there is a new blog post up, click the link and your brought to the article – I think. My goal is to have this thing running on all cylinders by the time the traps are set. If you so feel inclined there is an area where you can respond to posts and create threads. This is to create interaction, but not flood people’s inboxes with “reply all” (your welcome Kenny)! Many thanks to my mom, Shawn for getting this put together and kicking me in the ass to get going on it! I will still for the first few blogs this season send the e-mail until I can get into a rhythm, I don’t want any one missing the action!

2) With VERY GREAT EXCITMENT and quite frankly a sigh of relief, I am very pleased to announce that the Ol’ Liza B that you all have been so accustomed to the last couple of years has been sold to a fella in CA who is moving back to his home state of Maine this summer. He bought it a site unseen…OMFG, why would he do such a thing, but any whose he gave me all cash in $100 bills and I brought It to the bank, so it all worked out great on my end! With the sale of the boat! I am obviously in the market for the next lobster slayer! ISO (for you non- craiglisters that means IN SEARCH OF) a 22-24 Eastern Center Console with a Yamaha or Honda outboard motor and I am not wavering! Wait until you see this salty little thing! I actually have Sam Bres going to take a peek at one up the road from him! An old retired Marine Biologists boat! Need to get that transaction done before the money ends up in some college savings fund or something!

3) Based on the amount of people that we had last year and the projected increase this year, The rules and the format will be changing. This is still in the works with the Rules and Regs Development group.

I think we are heading back to Maine towards the end of May at this point (god damn Chinese virus), So I foresee no delay in getting The 4th Annual 2020 Lobster Pot Challenge underway! I am looking forward to this season and bringing you guys a much better product! I will keep everyone in the loop – lucky you!

Have fun quarantining and stay safe and healthy!

P.S. Also had to upgrade computers. The one from high school circa 2005 couldn’t handle all the thoughts I had!
